A place to relax in Iten.

Kerio View sits on the lip of the Elgeyo Marakwet escarpment, close to Iten town - the global capital of running. Come for the running, the paragliding, or simply the view over the Kerio Valley.

The lodge

Timber and natural stones.

Much of the main building of Kerio View is constructed from timber and natural stones. The restaurant has two levels, and the upper deck has a slight edge when it comes to panoramic views over the Valley.

The views are always changing and interesting; but sunrise breakfasts can be very special indeed - sometimes stunning.

Iten, 2,350 m

The global capital of running.

Kerio View is close to Iten town, which the IAAF recognised as a "World Sports Heritage Site". This is due to the multitude of Olympians and World champions, literally hundreds, that have lived and trained in Iten and its environs. Many of them are frequent visitors to Kerio View.

One should not believe that Kerio View and Iten are just for the super sportsman. This is absolutely not the case. Most visiting runners are here just for pleasure and to expand their horizons.
